CARE Super Specialty OPD Centre – Banjara Hills

The Group’s flagship CARE Hospitals, Banjara Hills, Hyderabad — a super specialty hospital — began patient care delivery at the CARE Outpatient Centre in October 2012. Located in the heart of the city, a km away from the in-patient hospital, it is India’s largest integrated outpatient center with 65 beds which includes Dialysis Unit, Emergency and Pre/Post operative beds. CARE Outpatient Centre offers consultation in all super specialties in Hyderabad, with a best-in-class ambience of international standards for the convenience of patients. The hospital is spread across 6 floors, covering a total area of 1,85,000 square feet and offers the best medical care in a facility customized to deliver the highest quality of service. The CARE Outpatient Centre was formally inaugurated on 4th February 2013 by Late Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Abdul Kalam said, “At the CARE Outpatient Centre I feel compassion and hope for the patient. This is a place which conveys comfort to the ailing heart. CARE Hospitals always strives to serve the people and is silent in its approach.” Dr. Kalam was Chief Mentor for the hospital chain. The CARE Outpatient Centre offers a wide array of super specialty services at a dedicated facility optimized for outpatient consultation. One of the highlights is ambulatory or day care surgery services, where post-operative observation is uneventful. Such surgeries have become possible due to improved technology and are an accepted method of treatment for many patients, where overnight hospital stay is not required.
